Everytime
Every time I heard someone say
you can't do it I kept on going
pushing and fighting
pushing their words aside
like a true boxer.
Why?
I wanted to reach up to the top
I might be out of breath,
pulled a tooth, and bruised
but I praise my pride
that though I didn't win
I didn't give up
