Things That I Love
Stars sleepwalking across the night sky
Snow falling down, from way up high.
Shells on the beach, the waves make them glisten
Talking to someone, who wants to listen.
Hearing the applause, after a show
Cold yet calming, new fallen snow.
Petting a puppy that’s wagging its tail
Getting a second chance, after you fail.
Watching a plane soar through the air
Winning a game, fair and square.
Holding an infant, frail and small
then watching that baby grow up tall.
Living life to the fullest you can
Walking through the rain, hand in hand.
Being blessed, from the heavens above
in case you haven’t guessed, it’s life that I love.
